 Music is an integral part of a child’s development. This is no different in the lives of our children at South Main Baptist Church. Our children’s music ministry program provides excellent opportunities for young children to participate in making music with instruments and with their voices.
 From graded children’s choirs to Handbells and Handchimes to Children’s Music Camp, the children’s music ministry has a place for your child to learn, to grow, and to have fun. Graded Choirs
Our graded choir program helps kids to participate in singing with other kids their own age. We have four graded choirs for children 5th grade and under. Rehearsals take place on Wednesdays from 5:45-6:30 p.m.

Handbells and Handchimes
 Many children love to play instruments, and our children’s handbell and handchime programs allow them to do just that. Our children’s handbell and handchime choirs participate in the children’s concerts in December and in the spring and provide an exciting option for kids who really love to make music. Rehearsals take place on Sundays from 12:45-1:30 p.m.
