Over the years, the original organ has enhanced our services – in glad days and in sad – serving as a reminder of the Holy Spirit as the air flows through the pipes.
The years have taken a toll. Simply put, the organ must be replaced Many of the pipes no longer work and the bellows perform erratically. Though we have been fortunate to have organists who have grown to learn the instrument’s idiosyncrasies, the organ could cease to function at any time.
To plan for the next generation of worship in our space, South Main has engaged Nichols & Simpson, one of the foremost organ makers in the country. They have designed an organ custom-built for our space and style of worship that will serve us for the next one hundred years.
An organ for the generations of worship to come.
