Adults

Young Adults At South Main are a diverse group of young people (generally early 20’s-mid 30’s ish) who love being part of our intergenerational church family.  Whether we’re young professionals working downtown or in graduate school, single or married, new to Houston or lived here all our lives, commute to the innerloop or walk to church, own a house in the Heights or rent a Midtown apartment, we’re all seeking to live life together as a family of faith at South Main.

We may have been sleeping in on Sunday mornings during college, but now it’s time to make the faith of our parents authentically our own.  Maybe now we want to know where and if the Bible really intersects with our lives—even when life isn’t picture perfect.  Maybe we didn’t grow up in church but now are seeking to invest our lives in something bigger than ourselves.

We like to build houses for Habitat for Humanity and be involved with everyone at South Main, from the children to the senior adults.  Whether we’re studying the Bible or having a Girls Night Out, working to send shoes to orphans all over the world or just enjoying Star Pizza together, we have a sense of humor, a sense of integrity, and a fresh faith that is still forming and growing.
