Music for the Ages: A Centennial Heritage (2003)

South Main recorded and compiled this recording in commemoration of its 100th anniversary (November 2003).  Included are offerings from the Adult Handbell Choir, Agape women's ensemble, One Accord men's ensemble, soprano Lynda McKnight, organist Daryl Robinson, the combined Joyful Sound and Revelation youth choirs, the Sanctuary Choir, and others.  Music for the Ages is specially designed to facilitate the listener's worship of God, journeying through Preparation and Praise, The Christ Event, The Meaning of the Christ Event, and Our Response.

Sunday Morning at South Main 2 (1996)

Sunday Morning at South Main 2 includes a variety of music heard on Sunday mornings at South Main.  The Adult Handbell Choir, organist Charles Lively, the South Main Orchestra, Agape women's ensemble, One Accord Men's Ensemble, and the Sanctuary Choir all appear on this recording.  Highlights include Bob Walters' arrangement of "Holy, Holy, Holy," John Rutter's "For the Beauty of the Earth," Carl F. Mueller's "Create in Me a Clean Heart, O God," John Ness Beck's "Every Valley," and Jane Marshall's "My Eternal King."

One Accord (1995)

South Main's One Accord men's ensemble provides a variety of selections in this recording.  In addition to many a cappella arrangements, you will hear guest appearances by Paul English, piano; Beth Watson, oboe; Mark Hayes, piano; and Greg Berry, piano.  Titles on this recording include Martin Luther's "A Mighty Fortress Is Our God;" "Zion's Walls," popularized by Aaron Copland in his The Tender Land; "Lord, Listen to Your Children," by Ken Medema and arranged by Jack Schrader; and "Ain'-a That Good News," a spiritual arranged by William L. Dawson.
