Speaker Dr. Ken Hugghins
Music Wade Daniels

Dr. Kenneth Hugghins has always been a favorite of the Senior Adults at South Main Baptist Church. Ken has received a B.A. in Sociology from Baylor, a Master of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas, and a Ph.D. in New Testament Studies from Southwestern. He has taught in higher education at Southwestern, Texas Christian University, Houston Baptist University, the Houston Extension Campus of Southwestern Seminary, the Corpus Christi extensions of Howard Payne University and Logsdon School of Theology, and B. H. Carroll Theological Institute. He has served as a campus minister in Dallas and in Texas Baptist churches in positions as music, youth, college, and young adult minister. Since 1990, he has served in his first (and only) pastorate at Elkins Lake Baptist Church in Huntsville, Texas.

He is married to Pamela and they have two children, Kyle and Kelly. Ken and Pam are still trying to understand God’s humor in blessing two Baylor graduates with children who chose A&M! Ken enjoys scuba diving, hunting, shooting, snow skiing, guitar, and reading. His primary hobby at the present is riding his Harley-Davidson Sportster. His most outstanding characteristic is the unusual spelling of his last name.

Daniel Wade is Minister of Music at First Baptist Church in Bartlesville, OK . He served previously in Texas for 30 years. He is a Music major from Lamar University in Beaumont, TX and a graduate from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Ft. Worth, TX.

He is a vocal member of the Grammy and Dove nominated CenturyMen choir and the Singing Churchmen of OK. He and his wife Becky will celebrate 25 years of marriage this October. They have one daughter, Ashley, an aspiring watercolor artist.
