The South Main COVID-19 Advisory Task Force has reassessed our protocols due to the declining numbers in Houston and beginning this Sunday, October 24, masks will be optional for those who are fully vaccinated.
We strongly encourage those who are not yet fully vaccinated to continue wearing a mask at SMBC. Because no children under the age of 12 have had the opportunity to be vaccinated, all children ages PreK through 527 Tribe and the adults who work with them are required to wear masks while on-campus. This policy will be revisited as vaccinations of young people progress. Coffee will be available around campus on Sunday morning and full food service will resume next week.
There may be members who do not yet feel comfortable attending without a mask. Let us treat the ?family of God in this place? with respect and love whether they have on a mask or not.
