HOW DO I FIND GOD?: SOUTH MAIN'S LENTEN DEVOTIONAL READINGS FEBRUARY 14 — MARCH 31

A few years ago, Father James Martin edited a collection of compelling essays. Martin, day by day, one by one, asked a group of writers, cultural leaders, and other interesting people, both famous and not so famous, to prayerfully consider, then answer this quintessential question: “How Do I Find God?”

It’s a great question for the Lenten season when the church calendar encourages us all to examine ourselves and our relationship with God. Over the next forty days, members of our congregation, day by day, one by one, will answer this question within this space for all of us.

Their answers will all be personal to them, but will give to each of us unique insight into new ways to seek and find God in this season of self reflection.

We hope that you make it a practice to read these offerings on a daily basis as the Lenten season progresses during the rest of February and March, leading up to Easter Sunday on April 1. Blog posts will be posted each day here.
