MainKids Extracurricular — MainKids Sunday Prep
During the month of October, MainKids will gather after Bible Study (12:30-1:50 PM) in the Great Hall to eat lunch, then meet Mr. Adam to continue our Worship education. We also will work on different elements for the children to lead during worship on Sunday. October 25. This will include the Discover Share announcements, greeting, ushering, leading a litany, the offertory prayer, and singing the anthem with the adult choir. Please make an effort for your children to be a part of this, it is a great way for kids to learn about the most important thing we do: Worship.
Tribe Extracurricular — All About Baptism
Every Sunday in October, Tribers will gather after Bible Study (12:30-1:50 PM) for fellowship around lunch tables, then for a time to talk All About Baptism. We will talk about what baptism is, why it's important, and take some time for each Triber to discern if they're ready to take that next step in their faith journey. It will be a low-pressure time of consideration and learning. Please make every effort to have your Triber stay to learn more about such a meaningful topic. If your Triber has already been baptized, please send them! We would love to have baptized Tribers speak to their experience and encourage fellow Tribers.
Youth Extracurricular — Better Together
All four Sundays of October, our Youth will eat lunch together in Turner Fellowship Hall at 12:30 PM, then engage in a four-week series called Better Together. Games, team challenges, and hands-on activities will be designed to cultivate teamwork, communication, friendship, and connection. Youth will compete in fun challenges, solve problems together, discover things about their peers, and practice the small choices that make a group stronger. Don't miss it!
