Midtown Music Concert

On Friday, April 10 at 7:00 PM, Bulgarian pianist Viktor Valkov performs a fun (and free!) piano concert in South Main’s Sanctuary as part of our Midtown Music Concert Series. While earning his DMA from Rice University, Dr. Valkov won both the 2012 New Orleans International Piano Competition and the Astral’s 2015 National Auditions. His repertoire is vast and spans the entire history of the instrument from Froberger and Couperin, to the complete works of Dimitar Nenov. Come hear why Dr. Valkov has been hailed as “sensational” and a “lion of the keyboard!”
