In worship, on All Saints' Day, we spoke the names of those in our congregation who passed away over the last calendar year. We recalled their lives in such a way that we received inspiration from their faith and service to God and to our church. This coming week, think back to such a person, a modern-day saint, from whose faith God provided fortitude to you. Thank God for this blessing—for the model and example such individuals give to us to continue to live our lives well and with faithful purpose.
