Who is Jesus?

Sunday in worship, we examined the contentious conversation between Pilate and the chief priests regarding the sign which read “The King of the Jews” fastened on the cross. We looked at their claims of subjective truth and considered how we often project our own subjective experience onto the person of Jesus, as opposed to allowing the person of Jesus to inform and transform our lives. This week, as we read through our Lenten Bible reading plan, notice the characteristics of Jesus, and consider afresh the objective truth of the story. Maybe, this invites us to reconsider who Jesus is this Lenten season.
