Sermon Audio – "The Son of God"

This past Sunday, as we further examined our Lenten question, “Who Is Jesus?”, we focused our attention on the words of a Centurion stationed at the foot of the Cross during the Crucifixion. Steeped in the “might-makes-right” worldview of a Roman soldier, this man, observing the events leading up to Jesus death, watched as Jesus prayed for his enemies, spoke to His mother and to His disciple about being family one to another, then submitted to death. Taking all this in, the Centurion concluded of Jesus— “Surely, this Man was the Son of God.” This week, let God break down your worldly perspectives that keep you from seeing the truth of who Jesus really is as you prepare for Holy Week.
