This past week, we continued our sermon series focused on the remarkable stained glass windows in our Sanctuary, Between the Stained Glass. In particular, we examined the colorful window that represents the Old Testament book of Numbers depicted by a cluster of grapes, reminding us of the story of the ten Israelites in Moses’ time who entered the Promised Land. They saw that it was flowing with milk and honey, but also reported back that the land could not be conquered. Only Caleb and Joshua reported back in a completely positive manner, certain that the God’s blessings and guidance would continue as they entered the Promised Land. This week, recall a time when God distinctly bestowed great blessing to your life, then give some additional thought as to whether, as our pastor asked us this week, you think your faithful God is out of good things to offer you in your life or whether you believe that your future holds more ahead.
