Sermon – "A Disciple Whose Name was Tabitha"

This past Sunday as we worshiped on Mother’s Day, Beth Moore brought a message about Tabitha, a disciple of the early church who cared for the poor and was raised from the dead by Peter. Drawing a connection between Jesus’ raising of a young girl during His ministry in Peter’s presence and this event with Tabitha which unfolds in the midst of Peter’s ministry emulating that of Jesus in the book of Acts, we were encouraged and reminded that one day we will be reunited with those who have died in Christ. This week, consider the power and grace of a God who will reunite us with those we have loved in His presence one day.
