Sermon - "Lost and Found"

In worship this week, we kicked off the school year and our Belong emphasis by considering the ways God relentlessly searches for us. Through familiar parables, we reoriented the focus from our being lost to God’s search—in this way, the parables of the Lost Sheep, the Lost Coin, and the Lost Son become the parables of the Good Shepherd, the Faithful Wife, and the Loving Father. This week, ponder the ways and areas of our lives in which we should reorient our understanding to more clearly see God as the first mover.
