Transformed – Week 3

Our message in worship this week centered on the promise that God will not allow us to face more than we can handle; and the corresponding truth that we have to choose to be faithful in the face of temptation or tribulation. We have the power to choose to be like wax, that is reshaped by the sun, rather than clay, that is baked hard by the sun. As you encounter trials and temptations this week, remember you are “in Christ.” God surrounds you as a moat surrounds a castle. Nothing can get you that God, who knows you better than you know yourself, has not allowed to pass. No matter how difficult the test, no matter how great the temptation, you can overcome it rather than being overcome by it. God redeems all He allows.
