Sermon – "People of the Promise"

“If you believe, you belong.” These words from Pastor Steve emphasize that our belonging in God’s family does not have anything to do with the family from which we came or a set of tasks we have completed. Rather, we are heirs according to the Promise because of God’s faithfulness to His people and our commitment and confession that Jesus is Lord. This week, ponder a “lower-case p” promise in your life to which God proved faithful. How might this promise inform your belonging in the family of the “upper-case P” Promise?
