Belong - Week 3

Jesus said, “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you abide in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing” (John 15:5). This past Sunday, we practiced abiding in God’s love, singing “O how He loves you and me…” and gathering together as the branches of the vine. Pastor Steve reminded us of the pruning that sometimes occurs in our lives, as we might experience loss in various forms. Is there a way that you are abiding in something over and against God’s love, resulting in bad fruit? How might you invite God to prune so that love remains?
