Sunday Worship – September 10, 2023

Belong Week – 4
September 10, 2023 at 10:00 am

Throughout the New Testament, we see the message of the Gospel intended not only for the insider, but also for the outsider, the Gentile, the uncircumcised, the foreigner. In fact, Ephesians 2 tells us that those who “once were far away have been brought near by the blood of Christ.” This Sunday in worship, we will focus on how we, the Church, are a community of belonging and reconciliation, building upon the foundation of Jesus Christ as cornerstone. As we emphasize what it means to be people of God, we will worship through hymns like “The Church’s One Foundation” and “Oh, How Good It Is,” and the Sanctuary Choir will sing a setting of Psalm 67: “Let the People Praise Thee, O God.”
