Thank You from our High School Seniors

Published May 17, 2023 by SMBC

Your encouragement, love, and prayers for young people at South Main are making a difference! As we recently heard from our high school graduates, their growing faith and trust in God has a solid foundation and they are ready to go with God's blessing and grace. We are so proud of them! The class of 2023 wants to share these words of thanksgiving with you.

From Isabella Alas

Thank you South Main for everything. Thank you for showing me what it means to follow Jesus in my daily living. Thank you for loving me and being there for me. Thank you for giving me a place where I can always come back to. Although I have only been here for two years, I have learned so much and I am forever grateful to be a part of such a wonderful community. Thank you.

From Lee Fowler

South Main, thank you for being my second home. Since birth, you have loved and comforted me. You have prepared and taught me what it means to be a man of God. Thank you for all the friends and relationships I have built within. Thank you for allowing me to go on trips such as Peru. Thank you for all the memories I have made. Many of these memories have a special place in my heart and I am proud to be a part of this church.

From Jessie Horton

Dear South Main Baptist Family, thank you for providing me a space to find friends, find myself, and learn how to live out my faith. From making friends in Colorado when I felt like I had no others, to sitting in a pew with my family every Sunday, to washing my youth group's feet—South Main has taught me the definition of community. I will always cherish the service opportunities South Main has offered me. These opportunities have taught me how I can be a leader and what gifts I have to offer the world in which to live out my faith. With love!

From Kayden Nickel

Thank you South Main for your continued support throughout my life. You have allowed me to grow and flourish and find myself all while giving me the opportunity to find my own connection with God. I will always treasure and carry the memories and relationships from Sunday School, Main Kids, and the Youth Group with me wherever I go.

From Andrew Salas

Church family: thank you for showing me constant compassion and care. Through this church, I have learned how to open up and get out of my "shell." The lessons I learned here will always have a lasting impact on my life in my relationships, highs, and lows. No matter how far I go, there will always be a home within South Main.

From Cody Sawyer

Thank you South Main for being my second family for 18 years. I would like to thank all of the friends I made along the way. And I will always look back at the memories I made here with gratitude and love.

From Prince Williams

Thank you for your mission to make disciples and teach the grace of God. You guys make a difference in the lives of South Mainers and those in the community. In the short time we've known each other, you guys are the meaning of what Jude 1:22 is: "And of some have compassion, making a difference."
