One of the primary benefits of a church community is how it thickens the strands of connection between and among us. This social fabric is what prevents us from falling through the cracks in times of crisis. Our pastoral care ministry at South Main weaves this social fabric throughout and around our congregation.
Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.Romans 12:12
The ministry and community comforts and visits us when we are sick, sends notes of encouragement when we feel isolated or alone, provides counseling in moments when spiritual and practical guidance is needed, and of course engages in ongoing prayer. If you would like to learn more about any of our pastoral care initiatives, please send Greg Funderburk, Minister for Pastoral Care, an email using the form below.
