Worship – The Way of the Cross

Sunday we examined another passage from the Gospel of Luke tracking Jesus’ resolute path toward Jerusalem. In the text, Jesus enters a village where ten lepers ask for mercy, compassion, and healing and He sends them to the high priest. On their way to where Jesus has dispatched them, the lepers realize they have been healed. Only one of those who had been healed returned to Jesus suggesting he had not only been healed, but made whole. It’s a beautiful story which expresses the importance of gratitude as we follow the Way of the Cross together.
