Worship – Wise Words

The Second Epistle to Timothy is believed to be Paul’s final letter before his death, and in it, Paul includes weighty, wise words fitting for a final letter. Sunday was the beginning of our Wise Words emphasis, and Family Ministry Resident Lane Craig brought our Good News about how we are to live today with the end in mind. We sang the hymns God of Grace and God of Glory, I Know Whom I Have Believed, and Because He Lives, which all speak to our calling to live a holy life led by God’s purpose and grace. Ultimately, we can live with assurance that “God holds the future, and life is worth the living just because He lives.”
